I just saw a Windows 8 laptop with a great background on the Start Page. But I cannot figure out, or find out, how to do it. Anyone know?

hi vince, to use your own backgrounds with windows 8, third party software is needed, a popular one is decor8 by stardock, its like $5 bucks. It's pretty handy, allows custom start screen, backgrounds, transparency, custom tile color and order, you can also try it free for 30 days to see if you like it.
