Solved Change Metro Start Screen

I want to personalize the Metro Start Screen, but I can't find the option.

Following OPTION TWO from this..

My system has no Personalize menu. Does anyone know to fix this?

Thanks David, I like the idea. Stardock makes some cool software. I purchased Start8 which is another great program.

I will try Decor8. I'm still wondering if I'm supposed to have a Personalize menu though.

It seems the Start screen option is gone from 8.1.

Edwin, David's post got me thinking.. by using the search icon I was able to find the menu.

It used to be under settings but not anymore I guess.

OPTION TWO is only for Windows 8.

For Windows 8.1, you would need to use OPTION ONE instead.

Hi Brink,

I tried to use option one from the tutorial but I wasn't able to find the same results.

The reason I went with option two is because I can remember seeing the screenshot you have listed.

Once I went to follow the guide for option two I realized those menus were gone.

I then also realized it was clearly marked Windows 8.

No worries mate. The important thing is that you found them, and was able to change it how you wanted.
