Ccleaner vs SpeedyPc Pro

I switched from SpeedyPc pro to Ccleaner on the advice from this website. But soon after, my computer started to slow down and then would freeze up and stay that way for about 1 to 1-1/2 minutes. After a couple of weeks of trying different things to solve it and sometimes they appeared to work. But soon after, the problem appeared again. So finally I re-installed SpeedyPc Pro and now the problem has disappeared. I kept Ccleaner on my desktop but cancel the monitoring.
So does this mean Ccleaner has a fault? Not necessarily. At this time, I am thinking that there may be some type of bug in my computer that just needs to adjust to SpeedyPc Pro before it can start to attack the system.
So if there is a bug, the computer will start to act up in few days and I'll be back to where I started. Your thoughts?

One last thing; I discovered that when the computer is refreshed, a folder is created called "Windows Old". So I wonder if this may be a reason for my computer to slow down and freeze up. So I deleted it using cleanup mgr. It must have taken 1-1/2 to 2 hours to perform this.

crap cleaners

My friend, you don't need nothing for speed up your computer most of that program's comes with an architecture for general purposes only and sometimes erase important registry entries and that cause problems on your system, all of them are crap. Use windows administrative for the good of your time and money.

If you want to you could use Macrium Reflect to make system images when things are running good.
No more need to refresh.

With Macrium Windows Old will never appear.

I use CCleaner Pro---Paid version.

I've never had a problem with it.

It is a good idea, when a slowdown or glitch appears, to run-

sfc /scannow

in an admin cmd prompt.
If your OS supports it.

You can easily find out by trying to run the cmd. :)

If it finds problems it can't fix, run-

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

in an admin cmd prompt & if it completes successfully run sfc /scannow over.

If dism can't download the needed files, there are links on this forum to used an install.wim or install.esd as the source. :)

I also use CCleaner Pro and dont have any issues. I dont think its CCleaner (though it is possible). Its probably something else, either a antivirus or another cleaning program that is interacting with it.
