Has anyone been able to successfully get the 12.3 Catalyst installed at all? I manged to get the SB package working for my chipset drivers, but the CCC package gets stuck on "Enumerating source media for installable packages" and doesn't go any further than that, but according to TM the setup file is constantly using 25% CPU.

Yes, it works well here.

Install by using the device manager if you need to do so/ Might good good for you to reboot first, for good measure, since you just installed SMBus driver.

How exactly did you go about getting it installed through the device manager? Any tutorials here? I can't seem to find one. :(

Right click the video adapter. Update driver software. Browse my computer... Let me pick... Have disk. Browse.

Then navigate to the driver folder inside the ATI folder on C: >>> \Support\12-3_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF and double click on the top .inf. (The folder is slightly different for you since 64 bit and I rared my install folder too - so similar but not exactly same.)

Hit ok then next and it will install. Run the setup.exe after so it installs CCC.

Mine installs but says there are warnings which are not shown in the log everything reads success.

CCC does not work now. It works on 12.1 even though that says there are errors as well and I installed 12.1 from the win8 cp download RC10 to be exact. When I update the software through vision engine it updates to 12.3 with no CCC.

I am going back to 7 this consumer preview is a wreck.

No it's not. It's perfection. (Not talking like/dislike Metro etc...I'm talking stability only.)

It's your setup and 3rd party software.

12.3 CCC functioning perfectly here.
