can't miracast on my laptop

My laptop is threenyears old andit does not have miracastnis there software to install Miracast?

If your computer is windows 10, then it should support Miracast from a software perspective. Windows 10 has all that is required for Miracast built-in (no software needed). You should be able to get it from the Microsoft store.

But you should know that the hardware of your computer must also support Miracast standards. else you may face challenges.

I have the version of win 10 pro which was factory instaalled when bought. however i will down load a version fro microsoft.Thanks
