Hi, I can't update windows through the "Windows Update" program on my PC. When I search for Windows Update, and click it, nothing happens. I ran the troubleshooter and it says that "service registration is missing or corrupt".

As a result of this I can't update my graphics driver or anything.

When installing updates, it's best to only install the ones that are selected by default first, then repeat until you no longer have any updates or have to manually select them.

I had an option to install 27ish important and 3 optional updates. I clicked the 27 important ones, but it didn't download anything. So I tried the reset thing again and restarted my PC.

Currently it is stuck at Getting Wondows ready don't turn off your PC for several minutes.

Okay, I'm back to the deskto.Where it's at now: windows update opens, but if I click on install important updates it doesn't download anything.
