cant install windows 8.1

Hi,

I cant install windows 8.1 from the app store (sorry Apple)

keep getting the same error message about "your windows 8.1 installation couldnt be completed"

I have tried to follow the instruction involving stopping BITS service, deleting the older files and restarting the same service however that has fixed nothing.

all other updates have been applied.

Is this an upgrade you are doing, I see from your specs your OS is Win 7. Are you getting any error code numbers? You may try unplugging any USB devices you have except the keyboard and mouse.

its windows 8 pro - not updated my signature

its genuinely doing my head in now and no matter what I try it just keeps failing.

The tutorial I have followed is this one however its just not solving anything.

what else can be done ? I have tried to download a standalone installer for 8.1 however that also fails.

You are not clear in your reply, Is it an upgrade version or a full version and is it on disk or are you downloading it.
