Can't install windows 8.1-KB2919355-x64 update

I have windows 8 x64 bit pro, I want to upgrade to 8.1, I have downloaded all required standalone install files from Microsoft. But when I try to install them it always shows that, "The update is not applicable to your computer." i heard that its a problem with system language, i tried different language settings but no use. plz help me to fix this problem.
