I activated the built-in Administrator account in Win8, but the account is nowhere to be found on the log in screen. Is not Ctrl-Alt-Del supposed to bring it up?

Thanks,
Paul

That is because there is no true Administrator account for Windows, since XP. They disabled the account starting with Vista, to keep Viruses from spreading by acting as Admin.

broe23, if memory serves me, the Trusted Installer is the absolute Administrator, correct? Using Ultimate Windows Tweakers 2 or 3 can enable this account, make it visible on the front end, however, there should be a specific need to activate and utilize the account, correct?

Ok, I got it. The Ctrl-Alt-Del evidently is defunct. Instead it's simply the Back arrow near the displayed user name.
