Solved Can't extend Local Disk drive on 8.1

Hi
My Local Disk is out of space so i'd like to add additional space from my extra drive but I'm not able to this is what I have under my disk management
even when i turn new volume into unallocated space i still cant extend?

Edit: ive tried using ease use partition but i cant resize c drive please help im not very tech savvy with these kinds of things but ive been looking all over for a solution :cry: it might be right before my eyes and i dont realize

You can not do this as these are two different disks, you can extend a partition within a drive but not to another drive.

You are welcome, you can manually move any data/documents/pictures to the E drive.

You cannot extend C: drive unless you convert to dynamic disk without data loss to create spanned volume. note that there is a risk that system may fail to boot after the conversion. Separated dynamic disk can be combined into a single dynamic volume, split data among several dynamic disks for increased performance, or duplicate data among several dynamic disks for increased reliability. It can resize the dynamic volume without reinstalling the windows system.

Sounds like a good [DEL]excuse[/DEL] time to pick up a 250GB or larger SSD drive to replace the 120GB drive you now have :)
