Cannot install drivers for my wifi adapter!

Hello,
I downloaded a driver for my wifi adapter and tried to install it and this is the error i keep getting.



Please need help because i want to start a hotspot from this laptop but i can't do so until i update my wifi adapter to the latest driver.

Usually when you download drivers they come compressed with a .zip extension, Did you unzip it.

Does it have a setup.exe, Then click on that.

Does it have a .inf file, Then right click on that and select install.

If you using win 8 go to device manager then right click on wireless adapter you using, chose update driver software then browse my computer for driver software and locate downloaded driver(*.inf). Be sure you have downloaded right driver(x86,x64 and right tipe).

It did not have an .exe file but had an .inf file, just like you told me to, i right-clicked it and install but then a window came up saying "The System Cannot Find The File Specified".

I did what u said me to and got the same error, and yes its for windows 8.1 x86. So the drivers are proper but they are not getting installed i don't know why, hmm

basically, i can't update drivers of any device, when i tried installing a driver for my Intel GMA, which had an setup.exe , it shows an error and then just quits.

I don't know why that happens, but these errors weren't there when i had windows 7.
