Hi, Here is the story of my long struggle with this issue.

I have a Lenovo T520 and installed Windows 8 little over two months ago. After the upgrade I started having trouble connecting to different wireless networks ( ATT Uverse at home, Verizon Jetpack 4620LE, Verizon Pantech UML 290 and wifi networks at Starbucks). I can see the SSID but when I try to connect it, it says "verifying and connecting" and errors out. All these wireless networks work perfectly ok with rest of my devices (Windows 7 laptops, MacBook Air, Pro, Tablets etc)

However my windows 8 laptop is able to connect to the two wireless network at work, one is internal and one public wifi for guests. The only difference is our corporate wifi uses Radius servers for authentication where as rest of the wireless networks don't. Here's what I have done troubleshooting this issue so far.

1. Completely wiped the drive and reinstall the OS. Tried connecting to the wireless network with the default drivers and the same issue happened.
2. Downloaded the latest drives for the Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 AGN from Intel's website and tried connecting to the wireless network. Same error again !.
3. Called Verizon to see if there was a problem on their end. Reset the two Verizon 4G cards to factory settings, updated firmware's and tried connecting. Same error.
4. Called ATT and same steps and no luck.
4. Changed Wireless Authentication Type from "WPA2" to "WPA", "WEP" and tried connecting. Same thing again.
5. Disabled Wireless security. Same error.
6. Renamed SSID.
7. Opened a support ticket with Microsoft and took Netmon logs, once while connecting to problematic wireless network and once while connecting to wifi at work, which works. And one more netmon log from Windows 7 Laptop connecting to the same wireless that has problems connecting on Windows 8 laptop. Compared the logs and all we found was there was no attempt\packet transfer while connecting from Win 8 device where as Win 7 device shows Beacon response. The log files in "C:\Windows\tracing" on Win8 device do not get updated when I try to connect to the wireless network that I have problem connecting to.
8. Called Lenovo and replaced the Wireless NIC and still have the same problem.

After all these troubleshooting I have absolutely no clue what the issue and what I am supposed to do to troubleshoot this issue. Please help if you have any suggestions.

OK, it seems like you have tried everything logical but I have to ask one more question and this is stretching it a bit. So, when you did your clean install, did it ever hang during the installation process; thereby, forcing you to do a manual shutdown (and restart) to continue the installation process? The reason I ask is because I also have a Lenovo, and I had a heck of a time (with wireless and other things) because I did not totally remove their partition structure as part of the installation process. How about providing a screen shot of your disk management so we can take a peek and also please tell us how you did the install (UEFI or Legacy). Now, if UEFI, your structure should look similar to this:

If you did a Legacy install, you should only have two partitions (one 350MB System Reserved and the rest to the C drive). However, if you have that Lenovo bloatware or one-key recovery partition still in the mix, I'm guessing that is somehow tied to your issue.
