Solved Can I delete Win 10 Windows.~BT folder,Windows.~ws on Win8

Can I delete the bloated Windows.~BT folder, Windows.~ws, in C: and elsewhere?
I do not need Windows 10, do not want it BUT more importantly do not want it to downlaod again and I did uncheck and hide the update called Windows 10.

Should I run the disk cleanup file and get rid of temporary installation files or is this dangerous?

It would help lessen disk space used by my Acronis Backup.

Hello Peter,

Yes, it's safe to delete those two folders.

If you haven't already, you might also disable the upgrade to Windows 10 update.
