I have an Acer Aspire Laptop with the maximum resolution of 1366x768.

As I cannot increase the resolution from software, can I change my laptop screen and use a 1920x1080 screen?

Means can I replace my screen to 1920x1080p? Will my Acer Aspire E5 575 Laptop will support the 1920x1080p screen?

It may be possible, but it would need for an alternative screen to be available and would also likely need the motherboard to be replaced to one that will drive the increased resolution.

As the only realistic supplier of these "spares" to do the job, would be Acer themselves, (screen will be a bespoke unit made for, or by, Acer, as will the Motherboard) and would be very expensive,

Although the job may be possible, even assuming you will do the fitting / conversion, it's likely that the cost will be greater than the retail price of a new device

Actually, one of my friend has the same Laptop as mine. He has replaced his screen from 1366x768 to 1920x1080p

The cost was around 30-40$

Just wanted to know if I replace my screen, do I have to change or update any drivers or anything else?
