Solved BSOD Playing WoW

Hello, Aimee. Axe0 asked me to stop by and see if I could help. I hope you don't mind. First, is your computer still under warranty? Also, you did a much better job than most do, but could I get you to fill out your remaining system specs please. These are the instructions I usually give. They may help you.

Please fill out your System Specs

information   Information
Your System Specs will help us to help you, and doing it in this manner will make them available to all helpers in every post and keep us from hunting for them. We ask that you fill them out in as much detail as possible including Desktop or Laptop, Model number if it is an OEM computer and all components with the Manufacturer and Model number if possible.

If you will go to your last post and click the 'System Specs' in the bottom left of the post, you will find a link to update your system specs. Please fill those out in as much detail as possible, making sure to click save at the bottom of the page. If you would like to know what we would like, you can click 'My System Specs' at the bottom left of this post to see mine. If you do not know what your components are, this will help you accomplish this task. System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums - Windows 10 Forums

Specifically, I need to know the Manufacturer and Model of your PSU, Hard Drives, CPU Cooler anything other than keyboard and Mouse you have connected to your computer and anything else you think may be of help.

Does your computer have on board graphics? Also, how comfortable do you feel working inside a computer?

Would you also please post a screenshot of Disk Management (Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image - Windows 7 Help Forums), also of Device Manager with Display Adapters expanded. Could I get you to download and install CPUz. CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID . Please post a screenshot of the CPU tab, the Mainboard tab, Memory tab and the SPD tab. On the SPD tab, you can select each Dimm Slot from a drop down box in the upper left of the SPD tab. I just need screenshots of the Dimm Slots that have ram in them.

I know you will not be able to post all of the screenshots in a single post, but that's OK. Use as many posts as you need. If you hav any questions for me, don't hesitate to ask. I don't mind answering at all. Right now I am just trying to see what we are dealing with and what your hardware set up is. Also, do you have the installation USB or DVD?

I don't know if it's under warranty. I don't really like taking it apart. I did have to remove one of the cards and put it back to remove the battery. I am not super comfortable taking things out as I feel like I might break something. I'm not sure if this will help it's a picture of the inside. I have not added or removed anything from the computer.
I'm not sure how to find the CPU cooler information. Did I fill out enough of the system spec now?

Aimee, am I correct that the only pci/pcie card you have installed is your graphics card? That is all I can really see from your picture. How long ago did you purchase your computer from Cyberpower?

Please download and install The Toshiba (Fijitsu) Hard Drive Diagnostic test WinDFT test and run the short and the long Diagnostic test. I would also back up all my personal files first. The test will not damage your files, but it is always a good idea to have backups.

You could be right I don't know that much about computers inside parts. I got the computer the beginning of this year, but someone else bought it for me and I'm not really in contact with them. OK. I will do that later today and get back to you.

Aimee, it seems you have some problems with your Graphics card. At least that's what it appears. If you look at your mainboard CPUz screenshot, the PCIe at the bottom says X0 X0. It should say X16 X16. It means your card is not being used and is not being recognized. This is what I am talking about.

Aimee, I know you don't like working inside the computer. Do you know someone who could help you? It is a very simple job. Could you remove the graphics card and plug just 1 monitor into your motherboard slot and see if it works? You Motherboard has a connection for a DVI, VGA and an HDMI cable. I would try first with just 1 monitor. Use the same type connection you are using now, just unplug it from the card to the motherboard connection. Once you do that. Start up and see if your results are better.

I think I would first see if the computer is under warranty. If it is, you can see what they want you to do. It is possible that the card is not completely seated, so the motherboard does not realize it is there. It could also be a dead graphics card or a defective motherboard where the PCIe slots do not work. That is what I would guess based on what little I know.

For right now, I wouldn't worry about the hard drive test.

Ah, OK. My monitors are not plugged in to it. Does that matter?

Are you saying your monitors are not plugged into the card? They should be, if it was working. But, it shouldn't affect the CPUz detection. You could download GPUz (https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/) and see what it detects. It can give you a lot of info about your graphics. If you download it, please post a screenshot of the main tab and the sensor tab.

I have one VGA connection and one HDMI they are connected to the motherboard. I removed the HDMI cable and connected it to the spot on the graphics card and it works.
OK. I might try that later. If I have someone else do it it could take forever for them to come over.

Here are the results from when everything was connected to the motherboard.

I don't have the proper connection to plug the other one into the card. It will display with just the one monitor hooked up to the card though.

The bios will display on the monitor hooked up to the card. I will run the memory test tonight before I go to bed. Thank you.

You're welcome. I hope everything continues to work for you. I would use it just that way for a few days and make sure there are no problems. If there are not, you can buy an adapter to connect your second monitor to your graphics card. They are usually pretty cheap. I just bought a Display Port to HDMI adapter for about $10 to hook my third monitor up with HDMI.

You may not need the Hard Drive test if you have no more BSODs. So, you might just wait.
