Hello Forumers!

After 2 weeks searching I can't find whats the problem. I always get BSOD as soon as I install catalyst driver. I tied 5-6 versions of drivers (from Dell page and from AMD) and I always uninstalled them using DDU and Driver Sweeper. If I can earn restart gets BSOD on startup.

-Runed SFC / SCANNOW -no problem-
-Tried different HDD
-Tried different RAMS
-Memtest is ok
-Fresh divers didnt help
-Tried with installed chipset drivers and without too
-Checked the paste on the CPU and the GPU it was ok but I'm repleaced
-Mostly fresh BIOS (A11)

Specs:
Dell Inspiron 7520 15r SE
Intel Core i5-3210m
8gb of ram on 1600 mHz (Samsung)
1TB Samsung HDD
Dual VGA:
Intel HD 4000
Amd Radeon HD 7730m

I really have no more idea. The laptop is useless. Cant even watch a video and I cant learn.

Im uploading the logs so really hope someone know any solutions what can be the problem.

Much thanks guys!

Hi deepenigma15,

Welcome to 8Forums :)

Have you tried the newest drivers from Dell?
According to your logs you have version 8.14.1.xxxx and version 13.151.0.0 is available.

Hi axe0!

Sure, that was the first one what I tried. And I tried it multiple times.

Some things what I forgot:
There is a solution on the internet to replace the original atikmpag.sys with an extracted one from the driver installer folder. Did it and didn't help.
Tied these thing on Win7, Win8.1 and Win10. Same on all system.
Tried to write an TDR Delay in the registry (also a solution on the internet) Didn't help.

EDIT:

Sorry. Dont know where is my head. Learning car electricity makes me crazy. So I tried the old one and now I'm trying the 13.151. Didn' know there is one on this version by Dell.

Can I assume the drivers Windows provides give the same result?

Possibly yes, have you tried to reseat the GPU (don't know if it's possible)?

I also dont know. Ill take a try tomorrow. But I think something with the cooling cos the fan is always on 100%. When both of us think its a hardware problem you can mark this thrwad as solved. Thanks for the help. :)

You can mark this thread as solved, I am only a user here :)

Factory Reset or a fresh install ? Noticed that utorrent runs at start, so if You downloaded a ISO for a fresh install did You verify that it's genuine ?

My desktop is disassembled (as usual) so I can't look at the dmp files, but what caught My attention is the lack of updates installed. If you think the fan is running at 100% you should check with Task Manager to see if the CPU is running at high usage searching for updates. If the default drivers work (?) which the laptop screen should work as it's running on the Intel GPU, I'd be more worried about having a Secure up-to-date OS than having the latest GPU driver that'll only be used on a external display or when Gaming on the lappy screen.

There are several threads on "Windows Updates Taking Forever" so I won't go through the KBs you would prolly have to manually download and install. Once Your Rig is updated You might want to scan with Superantispyware and Malwarebytes ? After that if you still have the problem come back and post.

Still no solution. Evrybody think its a driver problem but I think there is no more driver what I did not try. Yeah I was trying fresh install of Windows of 7, 8.1 and Windows 10. Didnt work. Once I had a bit of time so I just played a bit of Diablo 3. It was frozen and BSOD appeared. It did it once before. Last situation was Windows 10 and I used this driver. AMD Radeon HD 7730M Graphics Driver Driver Details | Dell HungaryAs you can see its for Windows 7 and it worked with Windows 10 until it crushed. Ok back to Windows 7 and it worked also for a while. It was the time when it crushed with diablo.
Now driver (not what i linked) does not matter it crushing always. If I disable my amd radeon 7730 card it Works fine but I cant use amd card. Only my Intel HD 4000.

Had you checked for updated Intel Drivers first ? Intel(R) Driver & Support Assistant
If I'm correct the "switchable Graphics" don't actually switch from using only the Intel GPU to only the Radeon GPU. It's a semi-hybrid type system ? After the Intel Drivers are updated then scan with the Radeon Driver AutoDetect Tool to find the latest drivers. AMD Driver Autodetect

I always use the latest Non-Beta drivers available directly from the manufacturer.
