Hi all,

I recently downgraded from Windows 10 due to constant BSOD's (was initially upgraded from windows 8.1).

I successfully performed a clean install this morning but have already encountered three BSODs,

I have a feeling that it might be my origin software but I'm not sure

Regards

Matt

Hi mattblue,

Welcome to the 8forums.

As you get a 0x1a(memory_management), 0xA(IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) pointing to hardware and 0x139(KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE) caused by GPU drivers, please run a few tests.

Diagnostic test

Run Furmark to test your GPU. Furmark tutorial

Note   Note
Run Furmark for around 30 minutes

warning   Warning
Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if temperatures rise too high

RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Hi aex0,

UPDATE:
Since my original post I reinstalled Windows 8.1 again, this involved stripping out the PC reseating stuff and removing an extra HD

I have now received more BSODs such as SYSTEM_PTE_MISUSE, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

I have ran Furmark and it was fine pretty much sat at 68C and no artifacts were seen

I will run memcheck tonight but in the mean time please find the new dumps

Right now I cannot look in the dumps.
Within a couple of hours I'm home, then I'll take a look at the dumps.
