BSOD due to ntoskrnl.exe (it's back again)

Another BSOD today after I uninstalled Avast.

1) The BIOS: BIOS Version/Date Alienware A10, 7/13/2015
2) See if upgrading the BIOS improves stability: BIOS: A10 > A12

3) Open file explorer > this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for C:\windows\memory.dmp
4) If the memory.dmp file is < 2 GB then zip > post one drive or drop box share link into the thread

5) For any BSOD look as soon as possible for the memory dump > zip > post a one drive or drop box share link

6) List all of the antivirus/firewall software in use on the computer (always on and manual)

7) Run the Dell full diagnostic tests: Support for Alienware X51 R2 | Diagnostics | Dell US
(report the test results into the thread)

8) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
9) sfc /scannow
10) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
11) chkdsk /scan
12) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

13) To ensure that there are no improper bios settings please reset the bios.
14) Sometimes there can be failure to boot after resetting the bios.

15) Backup the computer files to another drive or to the cloud.

16) Make a backup image using Macrium:

17) And please create a brand new restore point.

---I did this, but it won't let me open it nor find the folder so that I can find out how big the most recent file is.

4) Update the specs in the "My Computer" section:

In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)

@zbook what made you think Avast was still installed?

@toucan8 Given the history of all the times you have tried Driver Verifier with @axe0 I am not going to suggest that again. I did notice that the OP has wondered if Corsair might be involved. It is interesting that the last two crashes have both had the Corsair process icue.exe running. Is there anyway you can disable this (Corsair Utility Engine) and test?

Yes, it is odd because they do not appear in the drivers.txt file. I wonder if there are some registry entries and some directories elsewhere where they are being loaded from? Perhaps you should try to find them?

In the earlier logfiles the Avast drivers were showing up in drivers.txt. Can't explain it at the moment unless the OP did not restart after removing the Avast program? But that can't be right because there was a crash so the system must have rebooted.

Unless avast was removed with the removal tool, there are remnants left as avast is known for its improper removal with the default uninstall process.

@axe0 is correct, I used the normal uninstaller and not the Avast specific uninstaller that @zbook linked me to. I used Avast's in safemode and uninstalled here. Here's another BSOD dump. I downloaded voidtools but it still won't let me open the memory dump to send it zipped. It's trying to open it through wordpad even with the program. Is there another way of doing it?

40% of the time when I turn on the computer, I hear the sound when something is disconnected. Definitely hear it more when I had the BSODs happening these past couple weeks. My keyboard or mouse usually don't display the colors they should or they sometimes don't work and I have to unplug/plug in the USB. That's why I always thought it might be a CORSAIR issue but I could never narrow it down.

Trying to do the things from post #62, but it's difficult when my computer keeps crashing before I can get a window open. It just crashed 3 times in a row, so I'm posting this really quickly before it does again and I'll go down the list from the previous post.
