BSOD due to ntoskrnl.exe (it's back again)

And another today. Seems to be saying BAD_POOL_HEADER now. No idea what may be triggering it.

What do you mean temporarily remove McAfee? As in, do a clean reinstall? I had MalwareBytes installed (trial version) and I read elsewhere that it can cause the BAD_POOL_HEADER to occur, so I uninstalled it yesterday.

Temporary removing software means uninstall it while the problem is there in this case.

Windows 8 and up have by default Windows Defender, which is good enough if you use the basic ruless regarding security.

Been using the computer sporadically because of all the BSOD, but I turn it on and get another one. It's driving me nuts. Do you think it's still the same issue?View attachment 69064

Dell or nvidia? Crap I uninstalled nvidia with DDU and then reinstalled it from the nvidia driver website and I keep getting more BSOD. I think it's my CORSAIR keyboard or mouse but I don't know how to confirm it. Here are the latest dump files. I also removed McAfee with their uninstaller and reinstalled a new one (last week, prior to tampering with the nvidia drivers).View attachment 69074

And another one. Damn. This can drive a person nuts. 25 crashes in one year. To give you some background, I system restored it to a prior time before the crashes, but it seems like it didn't do anything.

Please follow the below suggestions in the order posted.

Diagnostic Test

RAM

arrow.png
Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

Note   Note
attachment.php

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

Driver Reinstallation

NVIDIA

Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Nvidia. Be sure the clean install box is checked and only install the Graphics driver and the PhysX driver, you can use this tutorial to do so :ar: NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems - Windows 7 Help Forums

Very likely due to an issue with the latest Windows Update updates (read, driver instability from 3rd party).

Please follow post #2 again to run driver verifier.
