BSOD DPC Watchdog Violation after installing NVIDIA driver

Hello Guys,

Read about the site rollback, so I am re-posting my issue again.

This crash has been happening since I lost my previous HDD to Windows 10, who sneakily downloaded and installed itself leading to registry corruption when I reverted to Windows 8.1.
Since I've replaced my HDD with a new one, the entire laptop has never been as before, its been weeks since I've been doing trial and error solutions on my own, and where I live, truly tech-savvy people are far and few.
The main issue is that whenever I try to install the NVIDIA Graphic driver, a BSOD (DPC_Watchdog_Violation) would occur during installation (happened the first two times, then none) and now the driver would install without any issues, but would crash windows upon restart before the login screen, this BSOD would send windows into a restart/crash loop until system restore kicked in, which is the only method to get the windows functional, although at a point prior to the driver installation. As far as I can tell, this only occurs with the NVIDIA driver, whether you've installed it through device manager or manually from the site itself, I've updated what I can when regarding the other system firmware and drivers, but that doesn't seem to affect the crashing/ or fix it in any way.
I'm hoping you guys can help me out here, or at the very least give me a definite answer to whats happening.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
