BSOD/Crashes/Freezes while Gaming, Asus Notebook A56CB

Hi everyone! Bought a new laptop almost a year ago, i was never able to find the cause of the crashes.

Here some specs

- Intel i7-3537U CPU
- Asus K56CB motherboard
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 740m Dedicated GPU
- Intel HD Graphics 4000 Integrated GPU
- 4gb 1600 Ram, single stick
- Windows 8.1 (had the same problem with win 8)

On every game i play i get random freezes, random crashes, random BSODs, some games do crash more frequently than others, i've tried older drivers, i've also formatted my pc but the problem is still there...
Im not using any antivirus, windows defender is enough for me.
What gets on my nerves the most is that even on old games like quake live do crashand sometime it also gives me BSODs, the fps are constant and quite high but i randomly get freezes (about 0,5 - 1 second long)...

another example, im playing SMITE, i get 80-150 fps but the game crashes every 2-5 mins, this game rarely gives me BSODs, when im lucky the game wont crash for 20-30min, but its very rare. the gpu can reach 80-85°C.
With "crash" i mean black screen with a window saying "Game.exe has stopped working"

there are other odds things happening on this notebook, for example i cant access to the bios while booting, i can only access to it once i log to my windows account, another strange thing is when i left click any file sometime it takes 10-15 seconds to get the "open, open with, copy, paste, cut etc.. window opened"
I've also noticed that sometime while gaming my disk usage get to 100% for an istant and when that happens i get a lag spike/freeze...

you guys are my last hope, if there is no way to find the source of my problems ill build a desktop and than ill keep sending the notebook to warranty until they fix it ._. i've still got 1 year of warranty, i've also sent it once already but they only changed the hard disk, and it didnt solve the problem too ...

Sorry for my poor english, hope it is understandable

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!

Please check to ensure that you have all available Windows Updates

There is no MSINFO32 report in the uploaded reports. Please do this:
MSINFO32:
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).

If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type (or copy/paste) "msinfo32 /nfo %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\TEST.NFO" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to Desktop to retrieve the TEST.NFO file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back. Then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Out of 18 memory dumps there were 8 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers) - and older systems
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized. i5 and i7 processors can be "auto-overclocked" by using Intel's TurboBoost feature. If so, it's safe to disregard this caution.
Processor may be overclocked!
Expected Frequency: 2000
Actual Frequency: 2494
Overclock Ratio: 1.247
Please uninstall HotSpotShield. It is known to cause BSOD's in Windows systems.

Thank you for the reply man!
everything is updated, bios, drivers and WU.. my cpu has turboboost and hotspotsield was already unistalled, so i should have an hardware problem.. i've done a memtest and my ram is ok, crystal disk says nothing is wrong with my hard disk, my gpu looks normal too ...looks like problem should be the mobo, but is there a way to be 100% sure about it?

There are no 100% sure motherboard tests. They're too expensive to make, so it's easier for the manufacturer's to replace the motherboards in order to test.

Run the rest of the diags from here: Hardware Diagnostics
If they ALL pass, then try this procedure to help rule things out: Hardware Stripdown Troubleshooting

I've been through the problems with a bad mobo and it's very frustrating - good luck!

very frustrating indeed lol, so after using intel processor diagnostic tool (no issues have been found) i've been monitoring the CPU temps while gaming, they reach 85°C ...isnt it too high for a cpu? could this be the cause of all those BSODs and game crashes? ...i want to try to disable the turboboost feature but i cant find it in the BIOS even tough it is the last version ... my cpu is an intel i7 3537U

EDIT: i've managed to disable the turboboost with CPUID Tmonitor and the temperature of the CPU wont get higher than 70°C now, sadly im still crashing

this week ill send this notebook to fix for a second time, hoping they will change the mobo.......

Please zip up and upload the contents of C:\Windows\Minidump with your next post.
We'll continue to troubleshoot this until it's fixed - either by the service center or by our efforts
