i never had such an issue before but from last night my pc gives BSOD right after some time of start. it was giving it like after every 5 mins of boot.I have been digging the issue all night and here is what i have done so far
- booted on safe mode with networking
- used nirsoft bluescreenview, turned out that culprit was athwbx.sys (Qualcomm Atheros USB Wireless LAN device driver)
- updated driver(nothing happened) so rolled back
- ran sfc and found some files were corrupt
- refreshed windows (nothing achieved)
- reset windows and it worked fine for a while but than again i encountered BSOD (same cause)
I will report back once BSOD appears again.
