I am not sure if this is the right place to create this topic, however I noticed this is the BSOD and debugging segment of the forum, this isn't a BSOD problem but I believe it qualifies as a bug problem. I am having a problem with my HP envy laptop (Windows 8.1 OS), whenever I hibernate my laptop for a long time (7-8hrs) and I try to start up again, the screen is stuck on a blank screen. The laptop starts up BUT the screen display remains blank, I would have to completely turn off the system using the power button and the start it up again for it to display. I started having this problem about 4days ago, I am not sure what the problem is but I would really appreciate some suggestions on how to resolve this issue.
edit: I have followed the BSOD post instructions here https://www.eightforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/10685-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html, I have attached a copy of my report to this post.
