Blank program popping up in taskbar

Every few seconds, a blank program shows in the taskbar for less than a second. This causes the taskbar to show in movies and forces games to go from full screen to windowed mode. Any and all help appreciated.

Thanks for the advice but I did that and it still appears

are you using a 3rd party software launcher like Ksoft runme or rocket dock ?

Sorry this is a late response but before I installed an update and it stopped and I updated again and it's happening again. And no I do not have any 3rd party software launchers. Thank you for your help
