How to Set or Unset Bing Homepage Image in Bing Desktop as Desktop Background in Windows 8

Bing Desktop is available for computers that are running XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8, as well as Windows Server 2008 and 2012, and is available in English (US), English (UK), French, German, Chinese (Simplified), and Japanese.
Bing Desktop can be installed from the optional updates section in Windows Update, or directly from Microsoft Bing desktop. Bing Desktop provides an automatic update of the Windows Desktop Background image to the Bing home page image each day.
This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off in Bing Desktop to make the Bing daily homepage image as your desktop background in Windows 8.

The homepage image files for Bing Desktop are stored in the hidden folder location below.
C:\Users\(user-name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\BingDesktop\themes
The BingDesktop.exe file is located in the folder below.
64-bit Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\BingDesktop
32-bit Windows:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\BingDesktop
C:\Users\(user-name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\BingDesktop\themes
The BingDesktop.exe file is located in the folder below.

Here's How:
1. Open your installed Bing Desktop, and do step 2 or 3 below for what you would like to do.
2. To Set Bing Homepage Image as Your Desktop Background in Windows
A) Click/tap on the Wallpaper
icon, check the Change wallpaper box, select to use wallpapers in Bing, Animal, Scenery, or Other, and select to change to change the wallpaper every day, hour, 30 min, or 5 sec. (see screenshot below)


You can also click/tap on any of the Bing wallpapers to set it as your desktop background.

B) Your desktop background will now change to the Bing wallpaper you selected
3. To Unset Bing Homepage Image as Your Desktop Background in Windows
A) Click/tap on the Wallpaper
icon, and uncheck the Change wallpaper box. (see screenshot below step 2A)

B) You can now change your desktop background to whatever wallpaper you like.
