Hi All, I have t buy a video adapter for a new monitor. The Surface Pro has a mini-DVI and the monitor has full DVI, HDMI and VGA in-ports.
I am currently using an old DVI-VGA adapter and it is working fine at the monitor's recommended resolution, 1920x1080. But, if I can get a visually better display, then I will buy an adapter.
So, the question is NOT about specs but actual eye-ball stuff.
Am I going to see anything improve by going to a Mini-DVI/HDMI adapter or direct Mini-DVI/DVI cable? I mean the current VGA adapter is looking pretty damned fine to me, but if the display can be better then I will go for it. BUT, I must stay at the 1920x1080 to match the old monitor side by side.
