The error code seems to mean the backup cannot find some file. What type of backup are you doing, image and file?

If it is a file, you might check what is being backed up and alter the selection to see if you can find the location of what file might it be missing. If this is a follow on backup, perhaps start over with a new backup.

You might check the Event Viewer to see if it gives you any more info, or look in the Windows\Logs\WindowsBackup folder to see if any of the .log files have any info.

Thanks for the reply Saltgrass. I'm not sure exactly what the problem was but it resolved itself. I am backing up to a USB external hard drive which I unplugged and then re-connected. That resolved the issue.
