Auto Logon No Longer Works After Password Change

Hi, I've previously set my Windows 8 machine to auto logon without entering my password.

But since then, I've changed the password for the account via hotmail, and now, whenever I turn on my machine it fails to logon with an error that my password is incorrect.

How do I change the stored password to my new password so that it will auto logon again?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Kapri, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Since you changed your password, you will have to go through the steps again to set up automatic sign in at startup with the new password. It's not working since it's still using your old password, and is why you need to set it up again using the tutorial that Vadim posted above.

Hope this helps, :)
Shawn
