I guess you probably get this a lot around here, but a family member is glued to Windows 8. She won't switch to Windows 10. But, she recently had some severe hardware problems, and the tech ended up switching the video card and putting Windows 10 on it. Of course, the first thing she had me do was put back Windows 8 and set everything back up. But, the graphics card that was swapped in is no longer supported by AMD on Windows 8. I am not sure if that is the reason for the problem or not (since I tried to install a number of drivers before getting one that seemed to "work". The graphics performance is worse than she had with the other card, but she might accept that. She is not going to accept having no sound. Any ideas or possible fixes? TYVM. Card is AMD Radeon RX 550.
