Hey guys this is really annoying me, whenever I am playing any video and/or audio file with any browser open and loading pages the audio stutters extremely badly, I use Chrome but also does it in Cyberfox, the players I have tried are VLC, Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player, Foobar 2000, Janngle, plus a few others.

It is driving me nuts as I can't listen or watch vids while browsing sites. Chrome use 100% of CPU on startup which to me is strange.

My PC stats are in my sig.

Sounds like the shared IRQ (Interrupt) that the sound is on could be causing it. Sound is always on a shared IRQ and Sound is the lower priority of the two and thus can get interrupted.

If you uninstall the sound in the Device Manager (BUT DO NOT uninstall the drivers) then restart the PC, when Windows starts it will reinstall the sound and sometimes will put it on a different shared IRQ and help minimize interruptions.
