My 2 W8 systems have moved on to W10 and the wife's W7 is in limbo for now but will go to W10 in the near future.
Lot of same people on these forums and I only check W7 and W8 forums once a week but check W10 forum daily.
I stay active on Norton and Malwarebytes forums also.

I'm staying here, my laptop returned to Windows 8.1 after too many issues with Windows 10. Mail no synchronizing properly, losing screen rotation all the time, black screen for 30 seconds before login, in general the system felt sluggish and half baked. My laptop is a July 2015 model with i3 4gb ram and fast enough for any Windows but 10. I forbid in my company any to do any upgrade to Windows 10 until they solve most issues we have.

My computer runs 8.1, but my heart still runs MS-DOS.

I have no desire to return to the DOS days with limited memory and the need for drivers for your peripherals for EVERY application!

Have already made the move. . .moved when the 10 forums were originally the 9 forums. As to the old Windows OS's I still have 8.1 in a vm, and windows 7 in boot camp on my new imac 27" 5k (sweet). Given up my Vista and XP VM's. Just too old and programmatic. Really do like the new 10. . .been using it since the insider program was put out to users who would want to help Microsoft test the new release. . .been nice. . .

One year to the day since a W10 beta first hit my Virtual-Box, and 7 months since W10 became my main OS, I am back on 8.1 - I was always a bit disillusioned with W10, and that had grown with time, not diminished.

Being back on W8.1 is like meeting an old friend you haven't seen for a while - things just 'click'.

It's nothing to do with any learning-curve, in fact W10 is very easy to use - but I loathe forced updates and it still looks terrible.

And those who know me here and on SevenForums will have already guessed that I dislike its net-centricity.

It's good to be back!

I was asked to go remote and fix my brother in laws laptop, its on 8.1. It felt like an alien machine after being on and using 10. I thought the same when I changed from 7 to 8. Win 10 is defo more solid, it has its faults but I assume they will be soon fixed (MS take note!).

I have had windows since 3.11 - its all in the mind. When 8 came out, people complained and said I am going back to 7. When 11 comes out people will complain and say I am going back to 10!!
