CCleaner is supposedly OK but I would just uninstall programs you don't want, delete everything from here C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Temp\ and run cleanmgr.exe (Disk Cleanup - Open and Use - Windows 7 Help Forums )
Don't worry about the registry. Deleting a few hundered or thousand orphaned database records will not speed up your PC.
I am using Advanced System Optimizer for regular maintenance..It has some very useful utilities..so i don't have to download 4 to 5 different tools..!!!! It optimizes my pc & increase its working efficiency. Gr8 software.
Except, they have a terrible interface and they do not clean everything.Nobody has to download any tool, windows gives some handy tools to help you cleaning your pc.
I wonder, how you can put up with its scanning speed, 30-60 minutes to complete? I could not.
