Solved Alt+Tab out of Games = Bad

I've found that if you alt+tab out of games in Windows 8 Pro, you can't tab back in to it and have to open Task Manager to force close it. When you look at the game while doing this you'll usually see that game is not responding. Just wondering if there's a way to fix this or should I just wait until an update is released?

Note: This has happened in Killing Floor, Smite Closed Beta, Unreal Tournament 3, Unreal Tournament 2004, Left 4 Dead 2, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

EDIT 1 > Hot Corners. Disable them. (Start8 from Stardock works well. I don't know of any others, but try searching around)

EDIT 2 > I found another thing that's causing the alt+tab problem: MSI Afterburner's OSD. Disable it and you're good to go (sucks though).

All day today Smite has been alt-tabbing itself. Nothing running in the background or anything. I'm going to switch back to 7 asap. Screw this garbage OS.

It appears that the Hot Corners on the Desktop are what's causing it. Since I'm using Start8 from Stardock, I'm able to disable those and so far no issues.

Ok, so something similar is happening in WoW for me. Regularly the game minimizes and I'm thrown to the desktop. How do you disable the hot corners for gaming if you're not using Stardock? Which I have no idea what that is. I just downloaded the upgrade online.
Thank you.

I found another thing that's causing the alt+tab problem: MSI Afterburner's OSD. Disable it and you're good to go (sucks though).

@ briente - I don't know of any other programs that do that. Try searching around and you might find one. Good luck to you.
