Adobe cs5.5 Master collection install - nearly 4 hours to complete!!!

Hi all
OK this isn't the highest specced laptop out there but it's taken me around 3.5 - 4 hours to install the complete Adobe CS5.5 Master collection.

Once it's installed the programs run just fine.

Any body also experienced long install times for this product.

I mounted the ISO (around 6.5GB in size so can't burn to regular DVD) using the new Mount facility in W8 and installed by running the setup. There didn't seem to be any problems with the "Emulated DVD".

I know this is a HUGE package but nearly 4 hours doesn't sound typical to me.

I'd really appreciate it if anybody else who has installed this package on W8 x-64 could say how long their installs took. (Install on a REAL not a Virtual Machine).

I got CS5 Ver 12, 64bit. Install time was normal.

what was "Normal" -- 1 hr, 2 hrs 15 mins more - less etc etc ??

I can't remember exactly but it's like install Office, around 5mins.

Found that strange. It runs fast when installing Adobe Master Collection was a breeze, about 30 minutes, the maximum.
This might be a cause of the space in your computer, how much space is left after installing Adobe Master Collection?
