Solved add/enable address bar in windows regedit.exe

in Windows 10, it has a neat feature to add address bar which is different from windows 8's path bar in regedit.exe

windows 8 shows you the path but thats it, it doesn't let you copy/paste to jump quickly to another reg path/key but windows 10 does.

I tried copy the regedit.exe from windows 10 machine to a windows 8 machine however it just says app can't run on the machine, I even tried to change compatibility and no luck. anyone have any idea how we can get address bar in windows 8 registry thats simiar to win10?

wow man this is an awesome software way better than win10. wish i had known this from beginning. this would make editing reg/searching it up so much easier.
