Acronis Update offered on Windows Update today.

I have no idea over this one. I'm running True Image 2014 with W8.1 and was amazed to see this. Could it be a compatabilty update for W10 or.... I have no idea.

I go this too. I read on acronis forums it crashed systems. I hid it for now.

Ah, latest Acronis version. That's brilliant, thank you. Yes it does look to be causing some major problems.

I let Windows Update (8.1) install the update and the system would not boot afterwards, missing file "windows\system32\drivers\tib_mounter".
Fortunately I have a dual boot system with Win7 and that allowed me to copy the file back when booted into Win7 to get the 8.1 working again!
