I have a Acer Aspire v5-122P

On the label it specifies the following:
Acer Aspire v5-122P-0408
SNID: 32014262520

In system information it specifies the following:
Acer Aspire v5-122P_080D_2.04
with a AMD A4-1250 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1000MHz, 2 Core processor.

Looking online, it appears that the above processor specified in
System Info has a Socket BGA769 (FT3) motherboard.

The manufacturers website, the above SNID specifies the following processor:

AMD, A4-1250, 1 GHz, Dual-core (2 Core™).

System dimensions are 0.8" x 11.4" x 8.1"

I want this laptop to have a 2GHz processor.

Any ideas on where I might find such a motherboard with a 2GHz processor?

Short answer is No but why would you want to upgrade a 5 year old cheap-as-chips laptop anyway? If you look at reviews for this laptop it was never rated very good anyway. Even if you can get a new motherboard/CPU the cost/benefit ratio would be very high and after all that you'll still have a 5 year old laptop which may not last much longer anyway. Better to replace the laptop with a much better model.

that specific Acer model is close to junk and you cannot upgrade/replace the AMD A4-1250 APU chip on there because it is integrated (aka. soldered) onto the system board and cannot be removed without extremely good desoldering skills & tools.
