Mine has been an overall enjoyable experience, both with the upgrade and clean install. There were some minor issues after the upgrade, such as text size and having to reinstall a couple of things. The clean install, while lengthy, proved to still be a bit better, though. I had zero of the issues many described while running a clean install and was even able to restore the majority of my settings/customizations with the new Skydrive backup feature.
