8.1 Apps not working

I'm really sorry Cliff but I don't know what you mean by this.

That's for the second part(under the separation line) you'll need to either use search(windows key and the letter "S") or go to all apps screen and type powershell and right click it and choose run as administrator.

Also, what is a "search windows key? I am so confused I can't even think straight.

The problem isn't the apps themselves I believe, it's that you can't access them. The repair install only replaces the system files.

One other thing I was wondering, have you tried creating another account, to see if you can use the apps then?
