This fast i7 PC has over 65,000 EVENT ERRORS since last year. :o
I have never looked at an event error log until today.

But oddly, this PC runs pretty great usually.
But...
There are `Corrupted file` errors reported (even as the PC performance is great even now).
HOWEVER.....
I have been unable to do a back-up on this computer since new (around15-months ago).

I tried to back-up to a spinning drive. Fail fail fail fail fail attempt after attempts. So, I gave up.
PC is Haswell i7, 16Gb Ram, Platinum PSU etc...
Graphics card is iChill GTX 780.

More recently I again tried to clone from this 250Gb Samsung SSD to a Crucial 500Gb M550, but it failed.
So, I thought it was due to Magician software or something.
So, I bought a Samsung V-Nand 500Gb. But the clone attempts failed again. (Broken Pipe &/or Error 0x800...... etc....)

So, instead of Disk Migration and EaseUS or Macrium Reflect or Acronis (all FAIL FAIL FAIL FAILS)
I bought a Disc-Clone box.
Fail after fail after fail failed to clone.

So I tried the Recovery Disk Back-up method.
Fail.

Various `Error messages` Too numerous to list just now.

So, I half cloned (partitions); and went to do a direct copy of the C-Drive files into the new SSD partition for C-Drive.

BUT
NVidia Dll etc..... Error copies popped up repeatedly during the file transfer (I am in the middle of).
Mainly the Errors are all 2 dates (14/11/2013 & 11/03/2014) thus far (a few Dozen).
Not sure how may there will be....

So, I looked and discovered there is such a thing as event log.
The record shows over 65,000 event errors.
My question is; what do I do about it?
Do I search and delete the corrupt files one by one.... ?

Do I uninstall NVidia Drivers files? (This is a 3D PC btw [various NVidia Drivers installed])

Or... :)

So, while waiting, I skipped transferring the error files to the new SSD (obviously?),.................and have 150Gb of files left transfering; ...........which it reports will take 7 hours (via the USB box).

Not sure how may glitched files are ahead though....

Please run SFC SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker - Windows 7 Help Forums (if it finds corrupt files, re-run it three times, if still no luck, attach CBS log.)
Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).
