2nd HDD not showing up after fresh Install of Win 8.1

I had to disconnect the 2nd HDD in my laptop in order to successfully do a fresh install of Windows 8.1
Now that I'm up and running, and I've reconnected the drive and closed my laptop, I dont see the drive appearing in the window tree, nor in the Device Manager under Disk Drives! It was working fine before I reinstalled Windows... (it sits in a HDD caddy where the optical drive used to be).

Can anyone provide some starting points to resolve this issue please?

Never mind guys... I realized I should have reconnected it BEFORE installing all my drivers. I installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers, rebooted, and voila. Back in business!
