I installed Windows 8 on a laptop that will connect to a domain. I will be installing software under the domain that suggests the UAC be turned off. I logged in as the local user and turned it off, then logged into the domain to turn it off. When accessing the UAC under the domain, I am prompted to input a user with administrative credentials to "Allow the UAC to make changes to this computer". I input the domain administrative user and password, which then access the UAC. When I attempt to turn the UAC to off, I get a notification that I need to log in under an Administrator, and am unable to access the lower two settings of the UAC. Why is that, when I used my administrative password to log to allow the UAC to make changes?
