Hey all.
I recently had a bad experience with a few viruses I had and it made me worried so cut the story short I re-installed Windows 8.1 and it's fine now.

But.. what do you think I should do?
Should I do daily scans with my anti-virus?

Also I am using Avast anti-virus premier 1 month free just testing it.
Is there anything else I should install to keep track of viruses and trojans etc?

Note: Sorry if this is the wrong section, can a mod please move the thread to the right forum board if possible.
Thank you.

Malwarebytes free full scans once a week, nothing is fool proof, be careful browsing, opening e-mails and downloading.

Ahh forgot to update that thread. Malware found 12 threats etc so cleaned them out restarted my PC and it messed up was running very slow etc so did a window 8.1 re-install and I'll just keep an eye on what I am clicking now.

O.k. but instead of starting another post ask question about Virus removal, could of just posted it there as was relevant to that post, we would have answered it same. As it doesn't help other post.
