Adware issue

Tried looking around online for answers... not much help. Hoping you fellas here have some better insight. I obviously have some adware, I've seen it with random names in my programs list and in program files folders, uninstall/delete as much as I can. It keeps popping up in my Google Chrome extensions and fill every page with sooo many obnoxious ads and sometimes even separate windows. If I delete/disable the extensions they just come back as soon as I close and re-open chrome.

Here's an example

Untitled.png

Seems to have a few odd names. Usually spelt the same way, with random letters added in to make it not quite a normal work like in the photo.
Never seen this before, never had problems before. Popped up very shortly after I got Windows 8.1

Adwcleaner by Xplode does a very good job of getting rid of things like that.

Get it here: AdwCleaner Download

Glad your adware was simple to remove but you're lucky. Go to this page and download this simple tool - Unchecky - Keeps your checkboxes clear This will help ensure that you don't unintentionally install adware because you didn't uncheck or did check an un-noticed box when installing something you actually did want to, like Java update. This is how a lot of this crapware gets on your computer in the first place. You can use AdwCleaner as a cleanup tool in case it misses something rather than pay for their cleaner.

some of those installers will still install stuff, even if you opt out of all extra programs. I don't think Unchecky helps all the time.

Chrome aborts the download of a lot of known PUP/malware installers, so you could switch to Chrome, or just have it installed and use it whenever you want to download something (Copy the url from your favorite browser and paste into Chrome adress bar)
