My Avast Premier is due to expire in a few days and I thought I'd ask if maybe there's something better I could purchase? my 3 pcs are just used for home use however, we do make some payments online. I was looking at this, instead of the Avast or maybe the total internet package. any thoughts? Thanks! :) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832719139

Other than what is between your ears, no one program gets everything 100%. In the end, you'll have to choose whatever you feel comfortable with. Everyone has an opinion and has been covered a lot in this forum. Look at post #1 of this thread as an example.

For home use, you might as well stick a free AV and maybe payed or free version of : https://www.malwarebytes.org/ and occasional sweep with other specific threat SW.
Nothing, absolutely nothing will be enough to throw caution to the wind and not watch your every step on internet, it's a jungle out there just waiting for someone to poke his nose in.
