You might want to run the SFC 3 times. SFC doesn't always fix everything on the first pass & it's usually recommended to run it 3X
If SFC could not fix something, then run the command again to see if it may be able to the next time. Sometimes it may take running the sfc /scannow command 3 times restarting the PC after each time to completely fix everything that it's able to.
Sorry but I don't understand why I need to to run sfc 3x, if after the first scan there are no integrity violations.

I have noticed that in general, things tend to run slower on a laptop since most don't have the power of a desktop. You might want to check your msconfig & see what all is starting up when you boot & eliminate the unnecessary programs.
I have had a look in my task manager startup and can't see anything there that shouldn't be there.
