Pop-ups with McAfee

I use McAfee but even though I have installed AdBlock on my laptop pop-up windows are still showing up. How can i prevent this from happening? Also some of the internetpages look like this

I think the simplest thing to do would be to try to uninstall your browser/addon and try to reinstall the browser and addon. If that doesn't fix it then you may have more luck filing a bug with adblock. I would also confirm that your ( siteadisor? ) for Mcafee has all the proper updates.
