Hi,
lately, I have been experiencing a slowdown on my computer. As any other person would do, I opened Task Manager and saw that a process called WMI Provider Host took 20-30%, of CPU. I tried to end the task but it continued to open up. I went into my anti-virus software and found nothing wrong. I looked into my Event Manager and got back to a .dll opening the script making WMI Provider Host open. the .dll is called cimwin.dll. That opens it and other Activity Transfers open it. Anyone have any idea on what is happening?

Thanks

Try to disable service Windows Management Instrumentation temporarily to see, what happens.
Basically it is required to run MSI setup, Windows Updates, and supports logging for various apps.

Thanks, it worked for some time. An hour later it came back on. I was only playing one game at that time and it wasn't online...
