Im not sure if this a problem, but... My dad has search.conduit.com as his webpage on Google Chrome. Not on IE and no toolbar. Is this a problem?

Conduit, Ask.com, My Search etc... are usually bundled with freeware and if you don't pay close attention, they will be installed as an add-on, plug-in, extention in your browser and sometimes it's hard to get rid of. In addition, they also install toolbars etc.... Personally, I only use Google as my main search engine.

Like I said, This is my dad's computer. He has all sorts of "dirty" software packed full of adware.

Almost every PC I work on has this particular malware on it and MalwareBytres gets rid of it. I also run Ccleaner after it's gone to remove any remnants of it from the registry. I also go into the browser settings to be sure all search engines are deleted except for the ones I want.
