    Nah, you just pull the mobo battery for about 10 seconds and plug it back in. Or, use the BIOS jumper to clear the current BIOS. Very easy to work around that one.

    Thank you for all that responded but unfortunately very little of this information was actually helpful as I still have the very same problem as before. I did create multiple accounts but I don't see a way to access or do basic editing to these accounts. I can't even change the account name or picture for goodness sake.
    This is frustrating beyond belief. After establishing 3 additional accounts, as well as associating them all with individually passwords per account. Guess what happens once I hit the reset button on the PC....It boots right back up to the start screen, NOT a logon screen which prompts the user to put in a password like it should. This is so frustrating it's not even funny.
    I don't know what else to do....

    Is the option to "Require a Password" chosen in System Settings?

    Control Panel (Icons view) > Power Options > Select "Choose what the power button does". Next screen is what you need.

    I'm running Windows 8.1 and I don't see a option to sign out. Thanks for the suggestion though.
